Salesloop — Privacy Policy

Salesloop ("the app") helps Shopify merchants schedule timed sales and automatically restore original prices when a sale ends. This policy explains what data the app processes and why.

Data we process

• Store identity: your myshopify.com domain and the access token issued by Shopify when you install the app.
• Product & pricing data: for products included in a sale we read and write variant prices and compare-at prices, and store an immutable snapshot of the original prices so they can be restored.
• Sale configuration: the discounts, start and end times, and targets you create.
• Notification settings (optional): an alert email address and a Slack webhook URL, if you choose to provide them.
• Order line items (for analytics): when an order is placed, we read its line items (product/variant, quantity, price) to measure how your scheduled sales perform. We store only aggregate counts (units sold and revenue per sale); we do not store your customers' names, emails, addresses, or any other personal information.

Order data is processed to compute sales statistics and is not used for any other purpose, never sold, and never shared.

How we use it

Data is used solely to provide the service: applying scheduled discounts, restoring original prices, verifying the result, and sending you failure alerts if you enabled them. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sub-processors

The app runs on our own server infrastructure. Optional alert delivery uses Resend (email) and Slack (incoming webhooks) only when you configure those channels.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data only while the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, or when Shopify sends a shop redaction request, we delete the store's sales, price snapshots, job records, notification settings, and session data.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We store no customer personal data at rest — order information is processed to compute aggregate statistics and not retained in personal form.

Your rights

You can request access to, or deletion of, the data we hold for your store at any time by contacting us. The app also honors Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks for data requests and redaction.
